Olive harvest and oil tasting
Limone is home to a considerable number of olive trees, an evergreen fruit tree that is very common in the Lake Garda area. It is a tree that suffers from low temperatures and drought but is very long-lived. In the autumn, around October, the olives are harvested to extract the oil. This is a very important farming tradition, which is often still done manually as in the past, using cloths, tongs and ladders. The extra virgin oil that is produced is rich in nutrients, extremely tasty and has excellent organoleptic properties.
From ca. 20th October guests can watch and participate in the olive harvest in the gardens of the Hotel Caravel. A tasting of typical products, directly in the field, will be offered. Other services included during the same period: guided walks (twice a week), yoga lessons (once a week), outdoor wellness area (equipped relaxation area, Finnish bio-sauna, two whirlpool baths, cold-water barrel with bucket waterfall), heated swimming pool and electric bike rental (for stays of 5 nights one day included).
Take advantage now and book your stay.
From 18th October there is also the 7=6 offer!
